The year 2008 was a busy one for Rabeya Eye Hospital in terms of Eye Care Outreach Programs within Magura District and surrounding districts such as Jhenaidah and Rajbari.

On the start of the year a Free Eye Camp was conducted in the Rabeya Eye Hospital premises. Likewise, on the last day of the year, another Free Eye Camp and Lens Implantation was conducted. It was a very successful year and on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the year-end Eye Camp, Chairman Dr. Mizan expressed his gratitude to the people of Magura and all the patients who trusted Rabeya Eye Hospital with their various eye diseases and problems.

More than 135 patients were treated and medicine was provided if necessary, free of cost. Also, 24 patients were operated with lens implantation free of cost during the camp.
