RABEYA FOUNDATION is a social organization placed at a remote part of Bangladesh called Magura. The foundation was founded by Ophthalmologist Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman in the year 2003.
This organization aims at providing high quality but low cost service for poor, deprived and helpless people. Bangladesh happens to be a poor country and most people here don't get to fulfill the basic needs for living as they are cursed by poverty.
The founder here has started his humanitarian work in Magura which is an ill-fated & distant district from the capital city Dhaka with hardly any charity or humanitarian activity for the betterment of the population. Dr. Mizan plans to reach in all the underdeveloped areas of Bangladesh in future with his charity work.
RABEYA EYE HOSPITAL
Being highly influenced by the program "2020 right to sight" launched on the 18th February 1999 by the World Health Organization to eliminate avoidable blindness, Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman started the same from his home town, Magura. Since the birth of Rabeya Eye Hospital it organized many cataract screening camps and arranged low cost IOL lens implantation surgery for the poor and helpless people. So often the surgery is made free of cost.
